PostSubject: size of tmpfs in /dev/shm is being ignored on opensuse 11   Thu Aug 28, 2014 4:47 am

dear all,

i have 128GB RAM upgrade on a server running opensuse linux 11 which the system succesfully detected. the tmpfs size was set in /etc/fstab as below but it is being ignored on system reboot back to 32GB which was the size before RAM upgrade.

tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs size=64g 0 0
what could be the issue.
