Outsourcing goes both ways?

Is turnabout fair play? This guy is brilliant though diabotical.

I laughed when I saw that one. Didn't realize he was "working" from home when I first saw it. That would help with the missing fifth of a persons salary. Might be close to your gas bill.

He would pretty well have to be working from home. He mailed his Kerberos FOB to China, so he would have nothing to sign into any computer at the office.

Despite the ethical questions, I had to laugh, too.

The ethical angle is definitely valid, although that is also a knife that cuts both ways. Sendiing the fob to China is the one that gets to me. In effect it provides a key to the security envelope.
Granted that access is limited to the user's authority level, but once inside, a real bright hacker would find ways of increasing the limits. Not what you'd want in the age of cyber attacks.

Hopefully he didn't work for a defense contractor.
