My sympathies for your unemployment Welan. Hope it does not last for long. I must admit I am getting a very bad feeling about where the economy is heading. Not to mention the potential for War with North Korea and Iraq's looming Nuclear situation.

So a little global cooling might just be the ticket right now.

Hope you find something soon. I'm sure in the spare time you can work on some of those old FORDs too. Maybe a chevy transplant to make them run.

Sorry to hear the news. Don't let it get you down, there's opportunities out there, you just need to find them. Have you looked into the herring fishery?

Bad news Welan. I get a shivering thinking at being unemployed in midlife.

Or is that shivering because of you freezing tactics?

fear not, have already had 2 job offers. Now to decide wheather I want to be bored by a out of date DOS system or work with a new (and somewhat buggy) win7 mobile system.

The DOS system sounds like it might be the more stable job. Very Happy

Yes, when they still have a DOS system it seems that they will have it for years to come.
Sound stable as well as for the environment they have as for your job security.

OK, so I'm a failure. Couldn't even manage to stay unemployed for 4 days.
Start my new job at MPI farms thursday. What can I say, they threatened me with alot of money.

Welan, I am saddened to hear of your failure to maintain your unemployed status merely because you were threatened with a lot of cash. What has happened to integrity and moral turpitude? You could have held out for dancing girls and a company tractor with a leather interior and a wood-grain dash.

Regardless, I suppose that as Henk says, the cash could come in handy at times, like the first of the month, or in the grocery line.

Good luck! (Is this the DOS or win7 offer?)

More money anyways...
