I think you made a fine choice. phpBB and smf are fine choices. I have never seen a free site like this for smf, unless you want it on my site.

The Forumotion host is rather interesting in what it has. I do like the setup they provide. There are many types and styles and themes to select from so it will take a while if we go this route. I am getting my head around some of it today since the weather has me indoors.

After this Winter I am unsure. But I have it on good authority that Outdoors exists.

HI, jonathanr! Yes there is an outdoors, although it has all moved t California for the winter. It was just too cold and wintery back east. It is feeling a little crowded here now.

There is an outdoors, but its currently frozen here and covered up by snow.
