| We saw our first flakes of the year this morning. Luckily it was warm enough to melt on contact. Looks our penguin friend has his mondo chillers back online. | |

| Oh, say it isn't so! I'm not ready in the least. Still bouncing around 80 here, lows in the mid 50's. welan, keep'em pointed in the other direction for a while! | |

| Got down to freezing last night at my place. Have the wood stove going strong and it is keeping things inside nicely warm. It is looking to warm up outside again later this week. I have a lot of fire wood layed up this year since there was a lot of big oaks killed during the Summer drought. Nothing much to do until Spring time other than to watch the time pass.
I expect the Winter will not be a bad as last year. But if it is I am ready for it. Sure was a mild year when it came to the Hurricanes. Good about that.
Hope everyone stays comfortable through out the cold season. | |

| Yeah I had to give in Monday morning and turn on my heat. Guess I needed to try it out before it gets really cold anyway. Those of us in the IRC room attacked his new speed boat with our cordless drills, but didn't seem to pull him away from the chillers. | |

| I'm glad your aim is off, and you're hit the northeast instead. | |

| My aim was right on, I didn’t want to test locally in case there were issues... | |

| It has officially started. The ground has turned white in the last half hour. *starts gathering more cornstalks to shove up the mondo chillers * | |
