Springtime in sunny CA

The middle of May. (It is may, isn't it?) Here I sit, 31 degrees outside, watching the snow come down, an inch and a half so far, and watching the fully laved oak trees bend under the load, waiting for the power to go out. Need to go light a fire in the wood stove.

It was down into the low 40s here yesterday, but thankfully not cold enough to snow. Hope it quits soon and melts before it drops branches on the power lines.

Well, yesterday Northern CA had tornado watches and 3 or 4 tornadoes touched the ground. Fortunately in rural areas where there was no damage. And I got cold enough to build a fire. Down in the 30's. I hope summer's not over and I missed it!

Here in Maryland it has been in the upper 80s-90 ! Suppose to be above normal for a week.

I HATE hot weather! Except at the beach!
