Excerpted from the February Edition of the Possum Blight News.

The Pre-Spring meeting of the Possum Blight RTFM LUG 911 was called to order.

The Old Regulars were in attendance as well as Kate (Retired Teacher), Old Man Printer (Farmer), and The Old County Moonshiner (The "M" the RTFM). The meeting was held in the PB General Store before the potbelly stove that was thankfully stoked up by the Stores proprietor, Bozo. After reading the notes from the last meeting the discussion turned to the upgrades that were done to the meeting place. New chairs had been added and bozo had hung up a new little green tree deodorant emblem. This was much appreciated because some of the farmers, fresh from the barns, added a bit too much atmosphere to the place. Most all members were pleased with the new arrangements but a few complained that the new chairs were stiff.

G0nz0, The visiting Professor and Cordon Blue Chef, had provided the munchies for the group this time and everyone was impressed by them. They were going to be served after official business had beeen taken care of. She also made a motion that the Groups name be changed since the LUG now had members that were not Retired Teachers. This was debated for some time with comments by M3PH and Wilson_Phillips as to when they could break the meeting and get on with the food. Discussion to shorten the name to TFM or to lengthen it to PTFM, (Penguins or Professers), continued with little consensus. The Group decided to continue the motion till the next meeting in Spring.

Many folks hung around after the meeting since the place was comfy and talked up the coming Spring Linux versions and planting schedule. Bozo took the opportunity to announce his store was having a special on Antacids and quickly had them sold out.

I caught Old Man Printer trying to carve his name on one of the new chairs. When I told him to knock it off, he chunked one of Gonzo's munchies at me. It made quite an impression on my forehead. Fortunately I almost ducked in time and can comb my hair over it. The vet says the stitches can come out in about 10 days.

Being a member of the Safety Committee, I have to suggest softer food. The "Frisbee Pasta" is causing too many injuries. Our Worker's Comp costs are skyrocketing because of it. Shocked

Hope that doesn't leave a visible scar Bozo.

Probably not; the vet still makes house calls and got to the store quick and put in some fine stitches, "finer 'n frog hair" he said. I can still comb my hair over it, and by the time I finish losing my hair, it should be hardly visible and I kin tell the girls I got it Viet Nam or someplace.
