Now post about yourself and continue the conversation. We are glad you are here! Very Happy

Been a lurker for a while and thought I'd register and see how things are going here.

I've been using openSuse since 6.4 and now have an 11.2 Gnome dual boot MSI Wind U100 and an 11.2 KDE vm here at work for a TFTP server that I use to reprogram my Avaya IP phone sets from VPN phones to straight up IP phones.

I try a variety of distros, i.e. puppy, ubuntu, kubuntu, Mandriva, Fedora, and PCLinuxOS 2009, but I always return to openSuse. Love Yast and just the general feel of the distro and my German roots have something to do with it as well.

I have a Red Hat server that I'm an admin for at work and yet am still quite a noob when it comes to linux in general. That's why I like these forums for finding answers to my questions. Plus the linuxistas are always a hoot.

I enjoyed a day off yesterday for our annual St. Patrick's day parade and a few brews, but today is back to work.

A great day to one and all! alien
