| Since I just had to reload Windows 7 due to a virus. (Only took a week to get all the updates loaded). The previously mention program has been superseded by HexChat. http://www.hexchat.org/home | |

http://www.hexchat.org/home installed some days ago just to find out that lack a lot of xchat features.rolled back in a flash(using XChat Release: 2.8.  | |

You have my sympathy. I used to spend long hours doing the same with XP, but no more. One advantage of using a small hard drive in conjunction with Acronis True Image is never to have to reload from scratch. | |

| This is the first time in probably 10 years that one of my own computers has acquired a virus. Imaging is a good idea. Should look into the software and drive space required. | |

| There is a spell check plug in. I turned on logs, but haven't really checked if they are working. That's why we have choices though, so everyone can find something they like. | |
