38F sounds pleasantly warm, to someone on the front lines of the Mondo Chillers. If I ever win the lottery, going to spend a couple of months of summer in Alaska, winter somewhere south like Arizona, and in between visit family in Iowa. Although this plan might interfere with hobbies like truck pulling.
It is about 25 degrees less than normal for us down here. Sure glad I invested in a wood stove this year. BTW bozo, I found keeping a wrecking bar to hand why splitting speeds things up. Once the wood starts splitting I just grab the bar and lever the pieces apart and than I am ready to release the ram and start the next split.

When I was younger, the idea of spending Summer in Alaska and Winter some where warm was very appealing. Nowadays I am not much for travel. santa

I'm not real big on traveling either, but generally enjoy myself once I get there.
